Cliff Boggess
Death Row
Escape from Death Row (1996)
To be able to paint this picture Cliff needed a model - so he tied up his sheet to such a knot. Some caring people asked if they should have reason to be worried...

Showertime, Lockdown (1996)
"Lockdown" was the highest security level for those inmates who didn't want or weren't allowed to work in the work program. They only had single cells (ca. 2 x 3 meter). Every walk out of the cell, for example to get a shower, was under heavy guard and in handcuffs.

The Letter (1994)
is a VERY big picture of maybe 1 x 2 meter. Hard to imagine how Cliff did manage it to paint this large picture in his small cell...
